WHAT WE DO
The Freedom K9 Project is a service dog organization that trains service dogs to help survivors overcome the struggles of PTSD. Integrating into normal life after trauma can seem impossible, but we work both with the dogs and the survivors to create a team that leads to the healing of the survivor.
We're the first organization in the United States specializing in training service dogs for abuse survivors, which is also something we're striving to change. With our Freedom K9 Coalition, we're joining together to increase access to PTSD service dogs for abuse survivors all across the country
a national group of professionals who volunteer their talents to help increase access to PTSD service dogs for survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking.
